Your files stay yours
Three small build files go from your phone to a private repository in your GitHub account. The 21 GB of game data never leaves your iPhone.
Make the app from your own game files, right from your phone. About 30 minutes, mostly waiting.
You need four things. Everything here is free.
b and data inside (about 21 GB), in Files › On My iPhone (not iCloud Drive). Got a .rar or .zip? Unpack it first with a free app like iZip.GitHub makes a private copy of the app's code in your account and builds it there, free. Only you can see it.
GitHub asks you to approve the builder once. Keep “All repositories” selected.

Tap Install & Authorize on GitHub and you'll come right back here.
Tap each one and pick it from your unpacked game folder. Nothing gets downloaded here. Only these go to your private repository (about 85 MB); the big data folder stays on your phone.
Getting ready…
About 25 minutes, free on GitHub. You can close this page; open this site again and you'll land right here.
Three more steps and you're playing.
GTA5Port.ipa.You're in an app's built-in browser (X, Telegram, Instagram…), which usually can't download files. Open this page in Safari first: tap ⋯ or the share button, then Open in Safari.
Download my appDownload shows an error? Make sure you're signed in to GitHub in this browser, then tap it again.
Your app is also saved in your GitHub account. Download it again any time from your release page.
No downloads from strangers, no shared builds. Everything happens in your own free accounts.

A GitHub Actions run, included free with every account, turns your files into an iPhone app in about 25 minutes.
SideStore or AltStore installs the app on your iPhone. It plays straight from your game folder, offline, with no server.
No. GitHub, GitHub Actions, SideStore, AltStore and a normal Apple ID are all free, and GitHub doesn't ask for a card. A paid Apple developer account is optional: the app then re-signs once a year instead of every 7 days, and the game gets more memory.
No. Your files go from your phone straight to your own private GitHub repository. The GitHub sign-in stays inside this browser tab and is gone when you close it. This site stores nothing.
You need your own copy. This site doesn't provide game files and can't help you find them.
Apple requires a one-time pairing between your iPhone and a computer before apps can be installed outside the App Store. Any Mac or Windows PC works, even a friend's. After that, SideStore works on the phone by itself; AltStore refreshes over Wi-Fi from that computer.
You never need to pay or add a card. Every free GitHub account gets build minutes each month; one build uses about 250 of them (Mac builds count ten times), so roughly eight builds a month, and they reset monthly. If GitHub says your account is locked because of a billing issue, or the build stays queued, open GitHub › Settings › Billing and licensing: fix any failed payment there or remove the spending limit you set, then press Try again here. Brand-new accounts sometimes need to verify their email first.
Maybe, but probably not. Nothing blocks older models; what matters is memory. iOS lets one app use about half of the phone's memory, and the game needs about 2.5 to 3 GB. iPhones with 4 GB (like the iPhone 11, 12, 13 and 13 mini) get about 2 GB, which is most likely too little even on the lowest setting. You can still try: the build is free, and the app tells you if it runs out of memory. A paid Apple developer account raises the limit a little.
Unlock more memory (free): keep "Enable increased memory entitlements" ticked (it is by default). Install the app with SideStore, then open GetMoreRam with the same Apple ID, add "Increased Memory Limit" to GTA V Port and refresh the app in SideStore. Players report this makes the game far more playable. A paid Apple developer account or TrollStore does the same. The app's Settings shows the memory limit at the bottom.
Then tune it: try a higher graphics preset (the app steps back down by itself if it's too much), set the resolution in Settings while playing, pick 30, 60 or Unlocked frame rate (up to 120 on ProMotion iPhones), keep the phone cool and close other apps. Full guide on GitHub.
If your installer refuses the app, build again with the memory box unticked.
Start with the one the app recommends. You can try higher presets and resolutions any time in Settings; if one needs more memory than your iPhone allows, the app tells you on the next launch and goes back to a setting that works.
GitHub has restricted that account, and restricted accounts can't approve any builder. It sometimes happens to brand-new accounts. GitHub Support can lift it.
If the build fails, the builder links to GitHub's log; trying again usually helps. If the game crashes, open the app's Settings › Share log and include it when you report the problem, or ask in the Telegram community.
Yes. The guide on GitHub shows how to build with one command on an Apple Silicon Mac.
